Maison & Object comes to Paris twice a year; with eight halls, thousands of exhibitors and miles after miles of new furniture and lighting products – it’s the place to be in January. We walked thirteen miles on the first day around the stands looking for interesting new product launches. The displays are stunning with each exhibitor vying to catch your eye. We were pleased to find some great new suppliers and some beautiful finishing touches.
In amongst all of the noise some of the most beautiful items were the simplest. We really liked these Danish industrial pendant lights.
This stunning hand painted wallpaper is from an artist turned businessman based in the US. He has taken the idea of traditional chinoiserie and brought it bang up to date with a riot of modern colours.
A great idea, whilst not a great picture. These are printed vinyl floors made to look like tiles. A simple and cost effective way of bringing the current Moroccan floor look into your home.
Finally we found dozens of colourful plates, vases, jars and boxes to add to our product files. We are looking forward to using them in our upcoming projects.
