As a business we want to give some of our time to a charity project each year. Over the last 12 months we’ve been working with the Pilton community health project to liven up their home. It has been brilliant to work with the project leader Jen Richards to give them a much brighter place to work and support the community. One of their projects is called Women Supporting Women which works directly with women in challenging life circumstances. We’re very proud to be involved in our small way.
Previously everything was painted a very uninspiring magnolia – not great with a blue office carpet throughout the building. In the miles of corridors we added in a lot of colour and pattern to give it much more personality and raise the energy levels of everyone involved in the project.
In the counselling rooms we chose much softer calming colours and used off cuts of fabrics from our projects to provide cushions and blinds.
The previously all magnolia board room has been given a funky new dark grey and orange look. Edinburgh carpet warehouse helped with flooring and decorating students did the painting.
