The owners of this historic Victorian mansion block apartment in Edinburgh purchased the property off-plan from developers.  With the clients residing mainly between London and Switzerland the majority of this project was communicated remotely.   

We met the client once for a brief before commencing work and once during the project. We worked on their behalf alongside the original contractors changing the room layouts ahead of development, redesigning the lighting plan and radiator positioning throughout the property to improve the original plans. 

The clients’ brief was for a warm Scottish country interior, which can be clearly seen through the use of the soft heathers, creams and muted blues in a variety of paisleys, plaids and tweeds.  This was complimented by the softest 100% Lambswool throws made in Scotland.  Each item of furniture in the apartment has been expertly crafted to the client’s specifications, including the handcrafted dining table and chairs to match the wood used in the flooring.  Hand made lampshades and cushions finish off this delightful country home interior, with all items being co-ordinated to be finished and installed within 1 week.
