This pretty Georgian townhouse sits in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town. The house was dated and tired when our clients appointed us. We transformed it into a comfortable and inviting family home, restoring the Georgian banister, cornicing and cupola to their former glory. Our brief was to create classic, relaxed rooms with plenty of pattern and texture. We designed and commissioned decorative glass panels for the entry hall and bespoke cabinetry for several rooms. We commissioned artwork from Scottish artists and dozens of pieces of bespoke furniture. Our design scheme sensitively modernised the rooms using layers of pattern and colour to create a delightful family home. The owners were based abroad throughout the project and we successfully communicated remotely throughout.
