Sally Homan founded Robertson Lindsay Interiors in 2010 following a successful business career and formal training at the prestigious KLC School of Design in London, where she graduated with honours. After gaining valuable experience with interior design practices in London, she established the studio in Edinburgh, where her team has built a reputation for creating luxury interiors for private residential and commercial clients across the UK and internationally.
Sally’s work is characterised by a thoughtful approach that balances architectural integrity with comfort, craftsmanship and timeless elegance. She believes that successful interiors should reflect the individuality of each client while respecting the character and history of the buildings they inhabit. Whether working on a listed Georgian townhouse, a country estate or a contemporary residence, every project is approached with creativity, attention to detail and a commitment to exceptional quality.
Having travelled extensively to more than fifty countries, Sally draws inspiration from architecture, art, craftsmanship and decorative traditions from around the world. This international perspective, combined with an appreciation for British heritage and classical design, informs interiors that feel layered, refined and enduring rather than driven by passing fashions.
An Associate of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID), Sally leads a talented and experienced design team, working closely with clients, architects, craftsmen and specialist makers to deliver bespoke interiors of the highest standard. Robertson Lindsay Interiors has developed an extensive portfolio of distinguished projects and the studio’s work is regularly featured in leading interiors and lifestyle publications.
